"Insights into his life"
Senator The Hon Ron Boswell has been serving Queenslanders in the Senate as The Nationals representative since 1983 with his current term expiring on 30 June 2014.
Before entering parliament, Senator Boswell was a manufacturer’s agent in his own small business. His background in small business has helped him in his efforts to fight for the small business and independent retail sectors.
Senator Boswell has been an active campaigner for rural, small business, social conservative and family causes. Over twenty-three years Senate service, Senator Boswell’s achievements have included changes in legislation to benefit rural, family and small business interests.
It is because of the Senators heart and advocacy for Small Business that we have invited him to speak at our next breakfast. He will be sharing his story, giving some insights into his life as a senator and giving hope to small and medium size business owners.
